Generac G.I.V.E.S.
Generac Power Systems and its employees engage in volunteerism and provide significant
financial support to a variety of charitable organizations and disaster relief efforts.
Generac created Generac G.I.V.E.S. (Generators in Vital Emergency Service) as a means to
coordinate fund-raising activities and to manage the distribution of donations.
In addition to our ongoing support of hurricane and other weather-related relief efforts,
some of the charities that have benefited from our desire to assist include:
-
"Freezing for Food" annual holiday food drive
-
United Way
-
American Cancer Society
-
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
-
The Salvation Army
-

Second Chance Alternative Education Program
This program exposes credit deficient sophomore students to the work environment by allowing them to
complete their high schools requirements at the sponsors facilities. With a unique blend of
traditional course instruction and real work experience, compensation is tied to work ethic and
performance. It has been highly successful in redirecting students toward more positive life choices.
