Generac strives to make a positive impact on the communities where we live and work. That’s why we support a number of charitable organizations that provide relief, encourage volunteerism, and promote education. It’s our way of helping bring peace of mind to every life we touch.
As a company, Generac knows our employees and their families benefit from the services that United Way organizations provide. In turn, we support them by participating in the United Way annual campaign. Generac matches each dollar that our employees contribute, maximizing the benefit. Together we have contributed more than a half million dollars over the last five years.
The alternative approach of Second Chance Partners for Education helps energize students who have distanced themselves from the traditional high school model. Generac has partnered with Second Chance to help the growing population of non-traditional high school learners achieve excellence and prepare for a successful future.
The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is a fun-filled celebration of cancer survivorship that raises money for research and programs. For more than five years, Generac has proudly supported Relay for Life, from registering teams to sponsoring events.
The Business Alliance provides resources to member employers that help educate them and their employees on health care matters, including how to reduce health-related costs. They also work to influence health-related legislation, and benchmark best practices in providing health and wellness services. Generac was instrumental in establishing this group, and continues to participate and provide leadership.
Generac supports the Waukesha County Mental Health Association, a nonprofit agency that provides community outreach, education, crisis intervention, and information and referral to our employees and their families.
