As a proud owner of a Generac Model 52210 40KW standby generator, I wanted to share with you and your company how pleased I was with my Generac generator during the recent Hurricane Ike. Our power went out the night that Ike was making landfall on the Texas coast and was out in our neighborhood for 12 days. During that time, my generator ran continuously and perfectly to provide my house and nearby neighbors with power.

My house became a sanctuary for friends, neighbors, and family to catch up on news, connect to the internet, recharge cell phones, store refrigerated and frozen items, and to jus relax in the comfort of air conditioning. Since I was fully functional on the whole house generator, I have been answering many questions about the system to friends and coworkers. My neighbors are already committed to installing their own systems and I have referred them to our local dealer.

I am now referred to around here as “Mr. Generator.” The peace of mind of having all the power that I needed to me and my family during this natural disaster was priceless.
