Please accept our sincere appreciation for the service provided to us during the recent ice storm in our region. We had some customers who were out of power and on generators for 15 days. We serviced on an emergency basis concentrating on health facilities, elderly health needs, town departments first. Due to the remoteness of some of our customers, we had more issues with companies supplying propane than generator need in many cases. We have obtained many new customers who bought Generac generators from other vendors but had no service available to them through these vendors. We now have a waiting list for service calls that has a four week wait. We have been servicing constantly since Dec 11, 2008.
We truly appreciate the factory shipping us generators in such a timely fashion. We had many customers operating older generators that completely fail during this extended period of run time. Replacements were critical, especially for those elderly and ill or on oxygen machines.
We especially want to thank our new rep. Sharon Kugi. She is amazing! Not only is she friendly and accommodating but she took the time to provide us with answers to whatever questions we posed. She was quick to return phone calls and provide the information and/or references that we requested. We can’t say enough good things about Sharon. We talked to her almost every day, sometimes several times a day, for 2 weeks. We feel as if we have made a new trusted friend. She is a great asset the Generac Power Systems family. It is our hope that you will give her a letter of commendation or any other reward your company provides for outstanding service. Please let her know that we truly appreciate all her assistance.
