Great for the price. Does what it's supposed to.
Bought it at Menard's for a good price. Use it for emergency back up (ie power outages). Runs our fridge, some lights, cell phone chargers, etc... Can also use it for sump back up but not at the same time as the fridge (we should have gotten a more powerful unit for that).

Good homeowners back up.
The unit was easy to set up and start, runs quiet and kept my appliances going during an extended outage. Nice to have the peace of mind that my food didn't spoil and I had some lights and power for a radio, 'too bad the cable TV signal was out'. The generator is light and easy to move around, there are no storage issues since it is compact and well designed to fit in the shed corner.

We were able to stay home here in NH AFTER THE LATEST ICE STORM OUR generac saved the day!
Very easy to buy on line shipped to door, only wheeels and handle need to be installed. Easy to operate,test ran it.
Oct.29 2011, WOW! BAD ICE STORM leaves still on trees HERE IN THE NORTHEAST.
As I WAS READY TO GO ON LINE had run the electrics and tested the unit.Didnt have to abandon the house ,ran heat lights and refrigerator .The unit would run allnight ,would let it cool down in the am refill it with gas start it up.

Saved the week
I bought this after a heavy ran storm and power outage last year. I researched it and found it was the best for the price in it's range. Had it delivered to the door and put it away for a year. When Irene threatened this summer I finally added the oil and gas and it fired right up. I did not need it until we lost power last Sunday, October 30. It was out until Friday, Nov. 4. It powered my hot water heater, my sump pump, my big refrigerator, and after I figured out how to cut into my furnace wires we had heat too. I added a couple of lights, too. This unit was a blessing. Okay, it is loud. But it seems that everybody else has one that is just as loud. For the price you can not beat it. It fired up with a few pulls every time. One weird thing that keeps happening is the rubber footings keep vibrating the nuts right of their bolts. I think a little super glue will fix that.

Good little generator
Have worked in the retail market in the past selling Generac generators and have found them to be a very dependable unit. So when it came time to buy, I went Generac.
Would have liked to see a 12v outlet, but I work around that.

After 2 days, unit wont work
After the storm that hit the east coast I found this unit and after 2 days of use coming home from work it was off. Filled it with Gas and wont start. Tried everything. I have to contact someone to service it and not sure when they will get to it. With a young child in the house and our only source of heat, this is not good. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. But another brand that is more dependable.

Runs Well
my generator runs well, except for some throttle hunting issues and the GFI plugs tripping too often. Overall the unit works good and is pretty quiet for this type of generator. I was dissapointed to find however, that it is not made in USA.

GP3250 - Works Well!
I'm an electrical contractor and I use my GP3250 frequently. Its light enough to lift in and out of my truck, runs very well and is quiet. Everything I was looking for in a generator and more.
