Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m - 3:30 p.m. Friday 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Class ends at noon on Friday

Course Prerequisite:

Satisfactory completion of Generac's Commercial I Training course required.

Laptop Required – with latest version of GenLink DCP installed, Serial Cable (PN0F7707) required with Serial/USB adapter if required for your laptop. If you have already received the Level 1 service Dongle please bring it with you to class.

Nightly homework and exercises.

Airline Reservations:

Airline reservations should be made to Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport (MKE). Transportation to and from Mitchell Airport is available via cab or shuttle service (Go Riteway 800-236-5450 www.goriteway.com). Transportation is not provided by Generac.  Please allow three hours from the time the class finishes to return to the airport - one hour for transportation and two hours prior to return flight. Do not book your airline reservations until receiving your class confirmation via email.

 

Course Fees:

Fees include instruction, program materials, breakfast at hotel, lunch and accommodations. Transportation between the hotel and training center upon request can be arranged directly through the hotel upon check-in and is NOT included in the course fee. Cost subject to change.

 

Accommodations:

Accommodations are provided by Generac and are included in the course fee. Handicap rooms are available upon request. All rooms are single occupancy. Rooms are reserved from the night before the first day of class with check out being on the morning of the last day of the class. Extra nights are the responsibility of the student. Occupants are responsible for telephone charges, movies, etc. Upon confirmation of attendance, hotel location and directions will be sent the week prior to the class course.

 

Payment:

Purchase orders or credit card. Must have an existing account in good standing with Generac for purchase orders.

 

Transportation:

TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED BY GENERAC. Your transportation to and from the Eagle Training Center can be set up directly through the Hotel once you receive your hotel confirmation number via email.

 

Miscellaneous:

No polyester clothing, all cotton clothing required. No shorts, tank tops or open-toed shoes allowed. No cell phones or pagers during class hours. No video tape, audio or photography devices allowed.

 

Cancellation Policy:

A fee of $100.00 will be charged for any reservations cancelled, rescheduled or changed up to 14 business days prior to the start of a training program. Our policy of limited enrollment makes it necessary to charge one half of the course fee for all reservations cancelled, rescheduled or changed within 14 days of class start date. No refund applies to no-shows. Generac is responsible only for the return of the program fee if, for any reason, we cancel the scheduled service training program. All cancellations or changes must be sent in writing to servicetraining@generac.com or faxed to 262-544-5689.

 

Laptop Requirements:

A PC running MS Windows operating system (Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7), along with the recommended hardware for that operating system.

 

 If you are considering upgrading your operating system, make sure your hardware supports it (processor speed, memory, etc). You will need Microsoft .NET framework version 3.5 loaded also.  A USB to 232 Serial Adapter that works with your PC.

 

The Generac Serial connector cable P/N 0F7707.  The most recent version of Genlink-DCP loaded on your PC. This software can be downloaded from the Generac Service website, if you are an active Generac Service Dealer.  If  this is unavailable to you, information will be available in class when you arrive.  Generac does not support MAC or LINUX operating systems.
