I am very happy with my generator so far. I only was able to test it out in my garage with a small load, at this point, because I, fortunately, have not lost power. Once, I get to try it out with an actual power outage, I will post an updated review!

Rated 5 out of 5 by David Very good product. I would buy another.
Have had this unit for 5 years for backup power during hurricanes and other outages. Fortunately have not had to use it much. It starts well with electric or rope pull starter. It runs steady with our without load. It is most reasonable on fuel consumption. Very solid and durable construction. The negatives, which I do not consider to be a big deal, are; Fuel valve is very difficult to actuate, fuel gauge broke off internally, rubber covers over switches fall off easily, and since it is recommended that the fuel be drained for long term storage it would be good if there was a simple way to drain it - like a drain valve. It is a very good product and I would buy another just like it if I needed one.

I have had this generator for a week now. Set-up was straight forward. Once I was familiar with the operations I gassed it up and it started up and smoothed out just fine. I did put a load on it and the auto-idle control worked fine. I ran it for 30 minutes with no issues. I will exercise it regularly as described out in the manual. It comes with a maintenance kit for the first service. I'll follow-up in a few months or after the first time we loose power and I use it for an extended period.

I've had several failures while running. It just stops producing electricity. The Voltage regulator and Stater have been replaced, but I'm afraid to use it because it will be in the shop for weeks waiting for parts.
