This is the second unit to replace the one that was shipped and obviously had been stored on its side because there was oil all over it and in the box. I will say that when I called for tech support about this issue I was less than pleased with the help. That unit ran extremely poorly and I couldn't get full pressure or hardly keep it running.
The new unit ran fine straight out of the box. The feature that I wanted most was the broom and I really like that attachment. I have used the round disc style deck attachments and they work great but the dirty debris is spun out around the circumference of the attachment. This cleanly moves all of the debris forward away from the user. The wheels on each side make it run smoothly and keep you at a pre-determined height. It can leave some streaking where the 4 spray nozzles do not completely overlap and is obviously more noticeable in areas with more dirt. With its taller stance it is a much more comfortable height when in use than my round disc model also.
I will echo the complaint that the siphon hose doesn't have a way of being restrained. I also would like to have seen a permanent hose bib installed toward the bottom of the tank to attach to ensuring the suction is at the bottom of the tank. This connection would also allow draining of the solution tank for storage or changing solution types.
The hook provided for the hose places it right up against the hot engine parts so you have to wait for the engine to cool before putting up the hose and I find that a bit problematic. A small guard between the handle below the hanger would keep those separated.
The storage location for the tips when not in use is great. Previously I have had to "snap" them into the plastic and after a while they get worn and the tips become loose. This unit uses a rubber grommet to hold the tips so they should stay securely stored for a long while. I would recommend treating the rubber to keep it from dry rotting (I expect to keep this unit for a long time)
I haven't had any walking issues when running as some have reported (well except that unit that I returned). This one seems to be balanced well and runs smooth enough that the rubber foot allows movement but it doesn't move enough to walk.
The wand holder keeps the wand in position better than my previous washer, although I was missing one of the push in attachments to hold that on.
Overall very pleased. I had to be patient since the first one was in my opinion a combination of poor shipping (not likely Generacs fault) and a bad egg. I wasn't worried since it was going to be covered by Generac or Lowes warranties, I was just out the time.

I was loving it until...
As others have mentioned it is quite easy to melt a hole in the hose on the exhaust. This happened once to me and I would say it has ruined the engine.
How.... Well as luck would have it the spray from the leaking hose shot water directly into the muffler and hydraulic locked the engine. I was eventually able to get it running again but with reduced power. Compression test indicated low compression (about 75psi). I changed the oil and have ran it about an hour since this occurred and it quit running for no apparent reason. This time it will not restart, compression test is very low, 30psi, a little better (about 40psi) after putting a little oil directly in the spark plug hole. I'm a licenced mechanic (motorcycle, auto and truck) and would say the engine is pooched.
All I can say is I was very happy with my Generac pressure washer until this occured. It's unfortunate that with a little ingenuity in the design of the muffler (baffle or something to prevent water so easily entering the engine) this sudden demise of my pressure washer could of been prevented....

Works well for my needs. As other have mentioned easy to get hose on muffler. Put a hole in mine 3rd use. No factory replacement 3400 PSI hose is available from any place I can find. Others had this question. It appears Versa-Tech only manufactured this hose for Generac.

Home run for Generac
I recently purchased the speed wash 3200 and am very pleased overall...very easy to set up, register and operate! The unit not only looks great but it functions even better than other PW’s I have used. I am looking forward to years of service at my home. I highly recommend this product!

Quality product and very well built with plenty of American made power. The dial wand is an awesome feature and functions well. Definitely one of the best features besides the power. It tends to walk a bit when on a hard surface, so just place it in the grass or mulch bed. The on board detergent tank is about worthless, but overall this is a quality product. I’ve been in construction for years and I highly recommend this power washer for home use.

Very Poor Instructions
I just received my new Generac 3200psi but have not used it yet. For what you have to pay for this machine the instructions are terrible. For example where can you find out how much oil is needed? The online specs say 20 oz yet the machine was shipped with a 16 oz oil container. Go figure. There is nothing mentioned in the instructions for how much is needed. Does the siphoning tube need to be installed although I don’t want to use the detergent tank at this time? In other words does it impact performance? Don’t think so but just guessing. Where do you run the siphoning tube (right or left side)? And there is no way of securing the siphoning tube so it doesn’t flop around. To avoid voiding the warranty the oil needs to be changed at certain intervals, such as, after the first 5 hours of use. However, there is no hour meter on this machine. There are two oil ports on this particular model. One on each side. There is NO diagram showing these two locations or which one is to be used. The hose hook location is convenient but so is the engine muffler & spark arrestor. One must be extremely careful when hanging the pressure hose back on the hanger hook to avoid melting it on the engine muffler. Poor design. The detergent tank is not removable. Therefore, if you have any detergent left in the tank when your job is finished you have two options. Run all the detergent out until the tank is empty or use a turkey baster to remove all the detergent. I hope this machine performs better than my first impression based on the poorly written instructions. In my review I said I recommend this product but this is from reputation only not actual experience yet.
