Lunch & Learn Event a Success in Peru
Jesus Campos, Generac’s sales engineering manager, recently traveled to Lima, Peru to attend a lunch & learn event organized by Generac Industrial Power distributor EGENER. Twenty-five specifying professionals specializing in telecom, hospitality, data center and construction market applications attended the event to learn more about Generac’s newest innovations and the benefits of using Generac-brand products.

In addition to EGENER, Generac’s presence at the event allowed attendees to obtain detailed information regarding the performance of Generac’s backup power systems and pose inquiries to gain a better understanding of the dependable power their unique product offerings can provide.

As the company continues to expand its footprint in South America, these lunch & learn events are a great way for Generac and its distributing partners to gain visibility and connect directly with prospective consumers in that global region.

Central American Summit Provides Unique Opportunities for Generac
Generac representatives recently traveled to Panama City, Panama, to participate as a co-sponsor of the Central American & Caribbean Energy Summit on 30 Nov. Marketing Director Samara Salgado and Regional Development Manager Del Maccio were both on hand to promote Generac Industrial Power’s innovative product solutions and interact with members from regional energy companies, investors, government leaders and more to discuss opportunities in various industry sectors.

Moreover, by attending the event, Generac was able to meet regional executives at the center of new energy project developments in the region, allowing the company to uncover new business opportunities, explore potential partnerships for the future and acquire information that will assist in repositioning the organization and its associates for sustainable growth in the region’s blossoming market.

Generac Industrial Power Educates with Regional Dealer in Ecuador
In a lunch & learn on 9 Nov., Generac Industrial Power distributor Energy Solutions held an organized event for 35 specifying professionals in Quito, Ecuador, to highlight Energy Solutions’ expertise, the generator sizing process, installation best practices and new specifying recommendations.

Attended by Sales Engineering Manager Jesus Campos and Energy Solution’s Alberto Salas, Esteban Guarders and Alex Leon, the event allowed both companies to connect with industry professionals for some of the most important construction and electric engineering companies in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca. Holding the event allowed Generac and its affiliate to connect with industry professionals while building international awareness for their commercial and industrial standby product offerings in the process.

ALCO-Costa Rica, New Generac Training Facility in Latin America
A recent alliance between Generac Power Systems and ALCO will allow the opening of a new training center for professionals in the energy sector. ALCO’s new training center will be located in Lagunilla de Heredia, Costa Rica, and serve as a hub for training engineers, technicians and other professionals from Costa Rica and surrounding regions.

The inaugural event, hosted by ALCO, gathered Generac representation and a large number of local companies in the energy industry.

September Highlights

September was a busy month for Generac, as representatives from their sales and marketing teams attended multiple events throughout the month to assess international landscapes, determine future business opportunities and identify ways in which Generac’s industrial and mobile products can meet the needs of international markets.

From 7-8 Sept., Regional Development Manager Del Maccio and Regional Sales Manager Aaron Cardelino visited Panama City, Panama, to attend the Latin American Ports Forum. During the two-day conference, industry experts and colleagues from Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Central America and the United States discussed evolving business opportunities in Latin America’s regional port industry. Attending the event allowed the company to promote Generac’s product lines to prospective customers.

To complement Generac’s presence at the Latin American Ports Forum, Sales Director Frank Moreno, Sales Engineering Manager Jesus Campos and Marketing Director Samara Salgado attended two other conferences to discuss future opportunities for the company and assess challenges currently affecting regional markets. From 15-16 Sept., all three representatives attended BNAmericas’ LATAM Leaders Forum in Miami, Fla. The following week, the group traveled to Bogotá, Colombia, to co-sponsor the 5th Annual Andean Capital Projects and Infrastructure Summit on 21 Sept.

Generac’s presence at these events allowed attendees to acquire detailed insights regarding the innovative solutions required by local markets while determining opportunities for the company’s future growth. In joining shipping companies, infrastructure project developers, construction companies, government officials and 300 delegates from top-tier organizations at these events, Generac has continued to position itself for a prosperous future in Latin American markets and looks forward to building on past successes in the region.
