Jesus previously helped expand and develop large kilowatt project plans as a Mission Critical Sales Manager for Cummins. With a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years of experience serving the Cummins brand, Jesus will now manage Generac’s large kilowatt opportunities in South America. Jesus looks forward to advising dealer partners with goal setting and sales strategies to establish and implement winning strategies for future growth.

Generac Sponsors Capital Projects & Infrastructure Summit in Panama

CP&I SummitGenerac recently sponsored the 4th Annual Central American | Caribbean Capital Projects and Infrastructure Summit, held on 27 of January in Panama City, Panama.

Summit attendees included representatives from a variety of sectors including construction, investments, and large infrastructure project development. Topics of interest for the event focused primarily on opportunities in road and highway networks, logistic centers, water sanitation and sewage.

Generac Visits Dealer in Jamaica

Shur PowerIn mid-February, Del Maccio visited Jamaican dealer, Shur Power, to discuss winning sales strategies for 2016. Products of interest included automatic standby generators intended for use in the United States as well as Generac’s 50 Hz models, which are designed for use in Mexico. Del looks forward to continuing to building on the momentum of these products throughout the year with Shur Power.

Latin America Dealer Conference A Success in Argentina

Shur PowerOrganized by Generac | Ottomotores for all dealers in Latin America, this year’s International Dealer Conference was hosted in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From 12-15 of January, dealers were educated on business strategies, new product lines and best practices for acquiring and retaining their desired clientele.

With a variety of guest speakers from Generac in attendance, dealers left the conference with a solid understanding of Generac’s newest innovations and meaningful approach to increasing sales in 2016.



Generac Mobile Products Releases Wash Racks to Latin American Market

Wash RacksSince its recent 2015 release in Europe, Generac Mobile Product’s innovative Wash Rack has shown an increased sales potential for markets around the world. That’s why the Wash Rack, a washing system designed to protect the environment from contaminates commonly found on a variety of site machinery, is now available in Latin America. This extension of the Wash Rack’s international reach will help influence product availability in Latin America’s rental market.

Equipos Diesel Now Selling All Generac Standby Power Solutions

Equipos DieselRegional Development Manager, Del Maccio, recently traveled to the Dominican Republic to visit Generac dealer, Equipos Diesel. Del’s visit helped to solidify Equipos Diesel’s status as a trusted supplier of all Generac standby products from 8kw generators to 9 MW modular power systems. Having recently dropped a major industry competitor to focus on Generac’s product offerings, Equipos Diesel now works exclusively with Generac brand products.

Light Naval Company Assists Victims of Flooding in Entre Ríos

Entre Rios donationsAs a part of a donation package, ten boats powered by 5Hp Mercury Marine motors and two Generac brand generators were provided to victims of recent floods in the Entre Ríos area of Concordia. The donations were intended for coastal residents of public welfare organizations and those with limited resources. These relief efforts gained attention from a variety of media outlets shortly after the items were received by those in need.

Ten shipyards (Rainbow, Benavidez, BIM, Klase A, Riviera, Segue, and Viking Trackler companies along with Baron S.R.L., House Edunor and Naval Motor S.A.) collaborated together to help individuals effected by the floods, and the value of the donations totaled approximately ₱150,000 (26,000 $US).
