How Generac’s Employee Culture Benefits Partners and Customers

For the second time in three years, Generac has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Best Large Companies to work for in Southeastern Wisconsin. While gaining awards and recognition is great, the most important part is that the employee culture that produces these awards directly benefits our partners and customers.

Generac employees work as a team to manufacture the highest quality products in the marketplace, while also assisting electrical contractors, engineers and end-users in selecting the optimum stand-by and backup power equipment to meet their needs. We create an environment that inspires innovation, where everyone is able to celebrate success and contribute to continuous improvement.  This leads to better customer and partner satisfaction and it all starts with our team members.

“Our employees are the reason we have been able to grow and diversify as quickly as we have in recent years,” said Rhonda Matschke, senior vice president of global human resources for Generac. “We’re grateful for their hard work and consistent focus on our customers.”

The first time Generac earned a Top 25 Workplace Award was in 2012. These awards were presented on the strength of a Generac employee survey administered by Journal Sentinel partner Workplace Dynamics. The survey considers company leadership, communication, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits, and other attributes.
