New, Improved SG130 and SG150 Gaseous-Fueled Generators Feature Generac 9.0L Industrial Engines

Generac introduces the SG130 and SG150 gaseous-fueled generator sets featuring our innovative 9.0L V8 turbocharged, after-cooled industrial engine. They provide optimized power output, engine/alternator operation at 1800 rpm, and reduced sound emissions. Available as single-set or in MPS configurations, these new models will be available for quotes on July 29 with dual-fuel options available for quotes on September 23. The first ship date is expected to be in early October.

Product Highlights
In addition to the upgraded Generac engines, these models:

  • Feature improved ambient temperature derate performance.
  • Maintain the same footprint as 6.8L platform.
  • Offer 130kW and 150kW standby ratings powered on natural gas or propane fuel.
  • Are factory EPA-certified for stationary emergency applications and listed to UL STD 2200 and CSA 22.2 IBC 2012/OSHPD. They are also SCAQMD certified.
  • Offer MPS configurations scalable to 2.25 MW.
  • Are available with upsize alternators and a variety of enclosure options.

These new models will replace the current SG130 and SG150 6.8L engine models. (The final day to quote projects with these engines is August 29.)
