Generac-Sponsored Webinar: Selective Coordination for Critical Power

10/31/2014

Generac invites you to register for Consulting-Specifying Engineering magazine’s free Nov. 13 webinar, Critical Power: Selective Coordination. The webinar will begin at 1 p.m. (CST), and attendees will earn 1 AIA CES credit.

The webinar will be presented by Rick Reyburn, PE, Director of Electrical, jba consulting engineers, Las Vegas, NV, and Syed Peeran, PE, PhD, Senior Engineer, CDM Smith in Cambridge, MA. It will focus on:

  • Applicable codes and standards: NFPA 70: National Electrical Code (NEC); and NFPA 110: Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems.
  • The types that are mandated to have selectively coordinated electrical systems.
  • How to design selectively coordinated electrical systems using circuit breakers, fuses, relays, and/or a combination thereof.

Viewers will also learn the differences between partial and full coordination and why the distinction is important.
