Over the years, Generac Industrial Power has worked to develop natural gas technologies to improve standby power solutions for commercial and industrial applications across the world. As the proud recipients of Frost & Sullivan’s prestigious North American Natural Gas Generator Set Company of the Year Award in 2014 and 2015, the company has taken to the road to share its expertise and product innovations with engineering professionals and prospective consumers across the U.S. and Canada each of the last 14 years. Intended to provide consulting specifying engineers, electrical contractors and facility managers an opportunity to view and learn about Generac’s expansive portfolio of power generation products, Generac Industrial Power’s interactive Power Experience Tour set out on its 15th annual tour of North America this past May. Boasting experiential presentations and educational displays, this year’s tour has also been enhanced by a new 53-ft. custom-built semi-trailer that offers more room for attendees and product demonstrations than previous trailer models.
The tour highlights a number of Generac’s innovative advancements, including contributions to Modular Power System (MPS) technology. Boasting increased redundancy, flexibility and scalability, MPS solutions offer an integrated approach to generator paralleling that is cost competitive with large individual generators and traditional paralleling systems. In addition to witnessing MPS functionality firsthand and learning about the reliability of natural gas technologies, guests of the tour have also been able to view a full-sized rendering of a Generac Industrial Power Bi-Fuel™ generator.
After traveling more than 1.2 million miles and welcoming over 23,000 visitors over the course of the last 14 years, Generac Industrial Power looks forward to meeting industry professionals and sharing expert insights at each stop scheduled over the next several months. This state-of-the-art trailer will continue its tour through March 2018, with Generac Industrial Power representatives and distributors co-hosting educational stops all along the way.
