Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this generator I was on the hunt for a generator for my RV. I wanted one that would easily run my AC in my camper and not be maxed out. I found this one. It’s exceeded my expectations. I ran the generator in the bed of my truck while I slept in my camper in the parking lot of a cracker barrel’s parking lot. It was so quiet that I only heard the generators from the Motor homes around me. It kept my AC running all night. I expected to wake up to a generator that was out of fuel. I was surprised to see that I still had 50% fuel remaining when I woke up, and the generator still running. I love that you can’t hear it when you’re 10 feet away from it inside the camper. This is why quietest little generator I’ve ever owned. It’s powerful and efficient. I couldn’t ask for more in a small generator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Generator I purchased my first 3500iq took it home and fired it up ran it through the break in period it ran perfect until I plugged in my 1500 watt heat gun.. it started to make a loud howling noise unplugged the heat gun and noise was gone… done this several times noise still there called the dealer that sold it to me and the next day I had a replacement… I’ve been using my replacement lots and it’s been working perfect…super quiet and good on fuel…I am very happy with it… Thank you to the dealer for being swift on the replacement Highly Recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super quiet Just bought and made a testing. Pros: Easy setup. Easy to start. Super quiet! If you turn the corner of the house you almost do not hear does it is running or not! Verify with different loads (from light up to 2 kW) Not really a Con: Wheels absences! Generac, please add an option to buy a wheels kit for your very good iQ3500! Why a customers should play a game with Honda Wheel kit, Caster's wheel kits and so on? I feel ready for power outage and highly recommend this little generator for exactly the purpose we used it for, which was to keep essential appliances running through an extended power outage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Power Overall great unit. However, room for improvement on power options and design. Pro's - Super Quiet and Fuel Efficient. Cons - Not available in bigger options. Would love to see something in the 4000-5000W range with some sound dampening. Or, design a cover for your open frame options. Lastly, please add some wheels to this thing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Began positive I have had several carb issues. I worked where we sold Generac generators, and always spoke highly of them. I owned a GP5500 prior w/ few problems. I always kept ethanol free gas or gas w/ Stabil in my IQ3500 . Which purchased 9/2019. I had one carb replacement a year ago ,after a month wait for parts from Generac. It would start but not run and the ECO setting would shutter and shut the engine off. Now it is repeating problems, after only being run on ethanol gas for less than 1 hour. We used it to run the 13.5K A/C or to run heater fan and charge RV batteries. We were able to do one or the other at a time. It was never able to pull the 25 Amp specs.
