Rated 1 out of 5 by from battery wont hold a charge Opened box GB 2000 was at 22% battery charge. Charged to 100% . Turned it off. The next day it was at 60% about 8-10 hours later. Charged again to 100 % . After 4-5 hours came back turned it on 89%. Customer service said open it up and bring the battery to a automotive store for a free test. I am bringing it back to where I got it. My parents had a Generac home standby for 20 + years without problems but this unit has issues .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Camping Companion Took camping came home with 5% battery. Using the solar panel for 11 hours on a partially cloudy day in October in WI, charged battery 46%. Looking at 2nd panel, since the battery can use 2 at once. My friends and family are all looking into getting their own now.

Filled air mattresses and camped for 3 nights...still came home with 5% battery. Using the solar panel for 11 hours on a partially cloudy day in October in WI, charged battery 46%. Looking at getting a 2nd panel. My friends and family are all looking into getting their own now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy received with 28% charge and using outlet took about 3 hours for full charge, shuts off automatically when fully charged. as a test ran refrigerator, fan and routers for an hour with no problem. took 7% of charge. primary reason for purchase was silent home backup power to complement our gas generator. so far very impressed and recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Battery capacity My friend forgot to charge their power bank. This big battery had enough power to fully charge their power bank and had plenty of power left to spare. I had enough to change multiple devices for 4 days and use an electric tea kettle several times on top of that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition to a tailgate With the return of college football, the GB1000 Portable Power Station was the perfect addition to our tailgate! It provided ample power for our devices and entertainment needs throughout the game. When the weather took a turn for the worse, it performed just as well indoors and quietly ran in the background.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful as a means to ferry power. As a Generac employee, I was invited to test the product in exchange for my honest feedback. I used the GB1000 while camping with a tent trailer where there was no power on the sites. We camped there for 8 days. I was able to run my 12V electric for 18 hours on a full charge of the battery. The real win was that it was overcast the entire time, so our solar was completely useless. I was able to charge the GB1000 at the convenience station over 2.5h and then simply plug the entire trailer into the battery. That recharged our trailer battery and kept things running for 3 or so days. It was helpful to have constant feedback as to the draw on the battery and the estimated time remaining. Of note, I had the 100W solar as well, but realistically, you'd need 12 hours of direct sunlight to charge this battery. Ideally you would have 300-400W of solar for something this size to be actually useful. Same goes for the 12v charger for use in a vehicle while driving. The battery reported 10-12 hours to reach full charge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't charge Received GB1000 as a promotional product for purchasing 24kw full house generator. The GB1000 doesn't take a charge still doesn't take a charge 24 hours after opening the box. It makes me wonder if I made a major mistake to buy the full house generator now. Service people only offering a power cord as a replacement. That's very sorry Generac.
