Inaccurate information
After changing my wifi I have had no luck with powrview, it doesn’t read my generation and is not reading usage accurately. I have rebooted it but still not working properly. There’s big gaps in the history as well.

We need App access
The PWRview App works very well to get the basic information one would want to see how well, fast and even if you are actually charging your battery storage system. It works very well with that basic information, but what we really need is the ability to program and/or change the 'modes' that the inverter is set to. That would be ENORMOUSLY useful if a homeowner could change the current 'backup mode' from 'CB' or "Clean Backup', to 'PB' or 'Priority Backup' if it is cloudy or rainy. That way, one could change based on the current charging with the current weather. Even better would be letting us manually set the 'hours and timing' where owe would like the system to change modes. That way, we can change to PB mode based on sunrise and sunset times. In PB mode, the system then primarily uses the PV panels to charge but if they aren't producing enough as in on a cloudy or rainy day, then it will supplement the PV power with GRID power to ensure your batteries are fully charged. That way, when the afternoon time of 'Peak Rates' are being charged, your system will be full to save money not using the GRID during 'Peak Rate' times. We need more manual programming options and ideally, we could program and choose using the iPhone/Android App.

1 year advanced user review
So I am an advanced user. I have every generac power product: solar, powerview, powercell, 20kW generator, and power manager, 2 inverters, and three full battery cabinets over two separate systems. powerview looks great, but offers almost zero in functionalality:
1. when the power from the grid goes out, I get zero notifications
2. there's a seperate app for the generator called mobile link. that app flatly just doesn't work. can't get it to open.
3. i have had to split my power usage during an outage between the generator and the batteries. the way it should be set up is that the whole house uses the batteries, and when/if the batterries die, then the generator kicks on. nope, can't be like that.
4. the generator for some reason did not kick on the last time i had a power outage and i got no notification of a power outage nor did i get any notification that the generator did not kick on. the only way i knew, was when i got home, i didn't hear the generator. i went to my sump pump and i was an hour away form the house being flooded. (the generator is connected to the sump pumps)
5. there is ZERO reporting. ZERO. The only thing this app does and does well is show you current status. and it's beautiful, but almost useless.
6. did I say ZERO reporting? I mean ZERO. I have no idea how many hours the battery was running the circuits vs. the grid. I have no idea what my peak power utilization from solar is. I have no idea what my utilization is when it's cloudy. I have no idea what my yearly utilization is. which months are better than others. ZERO. I have no idea what my monthly usage is via solar/battery versus the grid. I basically have no idea of anything.
7. did i mention that when i do have a power outage, neither the generator nor the battery system sends a notification? no idea...
8. support. well, don't expect an answer from customer support until you have waited at least an hour. no joke. even the installers hate calling generac because they all complain how long it takes to get someone on the phone.
9. and on the power manager, it only monitors 12 circuits. I have a 200amp service. I have 60 circuits. and again, zero reporting on any of the managed circuits.
I spent about 140k on my system. and it completely sucks on many levels.
the only positive is that there is a function that if it thinks there will be a storm, it ensures that the battery is full. but again, as there's no notifications of anything, i have no idea if the system is in that mode or not.

This product performs very well.
Please incorporate the monitoring of the PV links and Inverters into the PWRview mobile app, if possible. This is a great feature of the PWRcell Dashboard.

Instant power flow monitor
The instant flow page is very nice!
Unfortunately most of the rest of the app is less than useful! The savings portion is overly complex and not useful,
The reports are ok
WHAT IS MISSING IS ANY SYSTEM ERROR REPORTING! No error alerts are provided at all!
Web access to PwrView dous. Provide better information but outage and error alerts are missing along wit no online support to restart your system or to dispatch repair
Customer support is dijounted and very poor!

works great
after using washer for about 10 minutes found bolt on driveway under washer, it was a mounting bolt from the pump housing, evidently was not torqued to proper torque, other than that everything works fine.

only viewing .....why?
The app works fine for viewing, but the system is connected why can I not change my setting from the app. If I am not at home and know a storm is coming I should be able to switch to charge my battery if I was on self supply. Tesla is way ahead in this regard. Tesla's app looks at the weather and will automatically switch and charge your battery. App needs higher functionality. I should not have to walk outside my house to the panel to change simple settings.
