Engineered around the modern Perkins D46L EPEAK 12-cylinder engine and paired with the Deep Sea G8601 controller, this platform simplifies installation, reduces complexity, and meets the newest UL2200 3rd Edition safety standards. With shared enclosure components, complete exhaust system, and flexible runtime options, the D46L is the smarter, streamlined solution for 1250–1500 kW applications.

Modern Engine Platform

Perkins D46L EPEAK 12-cylinder diesel engine provides strong transient response, improved serviceability, and global parts availability. Turbocharged / aftercooled design ensures stable power output under heavy loads.

Deep Sea G8601 Controller

Advanced control platform with PLC functionality, Modbus® RTU/TCP, SNMP, integrated data logging, and on-screen system mimic (SLDs).

Exhaust System

Configurable exhaust collector with Hospital and Critical Grade options, providing flexibility on installtions and soundwhile creating a cleaner, more compact installation footprint.

Modular Power System (MPS) Paralleling

Generac’s MPS architecture allows multiple units to operate in parallel for up to 99.999 % reliability, easy scalability, and simplified serviceability.
