Business saver
Our business operates off a bounced wifi network. When the main office loses power the whole company shuts down. Generac will keep us running.

Piece of junk
We purchased two of these generators and have two other Generac generators (we have four locations needing backup power). One of the two new generators is working fine. The second never functioned, apparently the engine seals are faulty. Over three weeks after reporting this to Generac, we have had no response. The warranty is apparently BS. The company and the machine are, in my opinion, deeply flawed. We are right now over 12 hours without power, when we should be relying on Generac to allow us to live in our home, work, refrigerate our food etc. I’ve never had such a poor response from a company. This place needs a serious refocus. My experience has been extremely lousy. I will need to buy a new non-Generac machine today and will be fighting to get my money back from Generac.

Installation Smooth/product looks great!
Hopefully we won't need to use it :) The installation was professional and easy. The Generac looks very nice, no need to hide it behind a fence or landscaping. Gives us piece of mind and security knowing that in the worst of storms, our power will not go out. Good to support a locally made product!

Great Generator at a Fair Price
I am very pleased with Beck Electric who installed my generator yesterday. The techs were knowledgeable and took time to discuss important items with me. I suggest them highly.

Only 100 AMPS, Half A House, Generator
Bought 24KW under the guidance of GENERAC installation reps. Thought it would serve my home. The unit comes with 200 amps Transfer switch, but 24KW has a 100 amps breaker switch. Yes, it will only support lights, furnace and stove top up to 100 amps. It's advertised a "whole house." Back in the day, homes were wired with 100 amp service panels. Modern day code requires 200 amp service panels. Get your calculator and take a look at your service panel to figure out what the generator will support, not to exceed 100 amps, at any one time. Two factory referred installers looked at my home and told me the 24KW would have power to spare. Well, I have a brand new "half a house" GENERAC. Second major disappointment. Signed a contract with GENERAC installer. Seven months later got my money back Filed Case Number 9197583. Next to companies referred by GENERAC never contacted me after phone conversation and my text. Hire an independent licensed electrician and plumber for thousands less than first quote and then subsequent contract. Frightening to think about a service call or needed repair under warranty.
