Verizon wireless will be discontinuing its network support for 3G cellular devices in 2022, and depending on your location, possibly sooner. If your generator uses a Mobile Link CDMA accessory this change will impact your generator’s 3G cellular communication to Mobile Link’s monitoring service, but it will have no effect on your generator’s ability to provide power. Maintaining a robust generator connection ensures that you receive a seamless connection to your generator through the Mobile Link app. This also enables your dealer to provide efficient service through the insights that cellular connectivity provides.

We absolutely love this 13K generator, it gives us reliable service when we need it and while vacationing we don’t have to worry about a power failure that could do thousands of dollars in damages. I would recommend this product to anyone it is in my view an essential product for anyone who takes extended vacations. Thank you Generac for making our time at home and away worry free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the worry-free service The technicians were all very professional and very thorough in their explanations when asked a question. I could not have asked for a more understanding group of people, from the Electric Doctor to the plumber. They worked constantly in very cold weather conditions and I heard not one complaint. I know they put me, as the customer, first, which seems to be in short supply these days. I would definitely recommend Electric Doctor to anyone.

I may not be on the property or even if I am it would greatly help if I could power the Gens down thru the day or especially at night when power isn't needed. Fuel savings and noise cancelling are the biggest issue. these standbys come on then run when not always necessarily needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice to have, but could be improved I love my Generac Generator and mobile link. The whole system just works flawlessly. It's easy to set up and nice to view at anytime on my phone. The app itself is very basic and seems like it could provide much more information. For instance, when it's running it would be nice to know either at what capacity (75%, etc. of max), or better yet how many amps it's currently pulling. This would be useful so that I know if I need to turn off appliances in my house if it is starting to max it out, rather than overload the generator. It seems like the generator would know how many amps it's pulling or the capacity it's running at and would be great if it could be added to the app. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the App Disclaimer: I am a Generac dealer, but also a happy Mobile Link customer. I have had the app for several years now and love the information that it gives me about my generator. As the monitoring dealer, I believe in it so much that I pay for all my clients to have it for the first year. The app gives the owner and dealer peace of mind knowing the generator condition at all times. During a storm, my team and I monitor our Fleet app to make sure all the generators are working properly. If there were to be a problem, we can be on top of it quickly. I thoroughly recommend it to everyone with a compatible generator.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing but issues. Bought our generation through a authorized dealer and have had nothing but problems. After initial install generator would not start on automatic mode. After several weeks it was traced to a bad fuel solenoid. First power outage we had during a rain storm and generator refused to start. Traced it to a poorly designed emergency cut off switch on the outside of the generator. This sloppy switch is so weak that HAIL took out my generator by hitting the switch and killing power to the generator!!! Then when shore power went out the generator did not start after the programmed 3 second delay!! Installer placed a hard cover over the switch to prevent future issue. Fast forward three moths and we have another power failure and ANOTHER failure to start. I go outside and trip the main to see if the generator starts and NOTHING!! Reset the main and go look at the generator and it shows a DEAD battery!!! The sad thing is it did a maintenance run earlier in the day. I am NOT happy with the way the generator is performing. After spending what I did you would think I would not have the issues i am having with a new product!!
