Rated 5 out of 5 by from Question about the mobile link app I use the free version of the mobile link app. When logging in yesterday, I noted a popup that said … “This allows the app and the website to share information about you…” With whom? Just one another or with outside parties? We commissioned our 22kw Generac in December 2021. I have logged in to my account using the app a number of times since December but never encountered this pop up. Any insights?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fasteners (24kw unit) Everybody including the dealer's installers know the fasteners securing the right end panel are a pain. The installer replaced only 2 of the 3 fasteners and now only 1 works. (I could not enter this online because it said page not found.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just had the generator installed. I'm very pleased with the installation and was expecting the generator to come in a crate and unboxed on site. It wasn't in a crate and found that they had an issue with a seal leaking on a few units so they are now doing the break in procedure at their location before bringing the generators out. It had 2 hours on the hour meter and they already changed the oil so the first maintenance was already done and no leaks were detected. I'm very pleased with the work they done and were very thorugh with everything. Apparently the units no longer come with the wifi module to hook the unit up to wifi. You can get the module if you want it hooked up to wifi and apparently it's free but not sure. That's the only thing I was wondering about is if I can get the module free or if there is a charge. Not a big deal since I really don't need to know what it's doing unless I lose power. My reason for getting the generator is because I was tired of dragging my smaller generator out and back feeding the power through a couple plugs and not able to power the whole house. I haven't had it long enough to do it's first excercise but I have faith it will work just fine. I'd like to thank the service men for a job well done as they were training a new guy and he was doing alright with the exception of a couple hang ups...Lol We all gotta learn one way or another huh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of Mind! We live near the coast and vulnerable to hurricanes. Last year we experienced a record freeze and the electric grid went down. I have a 10 kw gas generator and it’s great but I can’t run everything with it. We talked about it but decided to wait. Later in the year we experienced a hurricane and lost power. I had stock piled gas for my generator but we were out for almost 5 days and 75 gallons of gas. We decided it was time. We purchased a 22kw and the piece of mind has been worth it. We have lost power twice since installing it and it runs my home with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely satisfied Our power lines run through a heavily wooded area so for the past 26 years we have had numerous power outages from falling limbs and trees. When we have an outage from a hurricane we are without power for 8-10 days. We have now replaced our gas generator with a 24k Generac and could not be more satisfied. Trademark Electric gave us superior service. The dealer monitoring through the Mobile Link is an added bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product offers some peace of mind when away from home. I have had the existing mobile link system installed for approaching 6 years. I love receiving text messages when the generator is running, particularly if we are not at home. I do, however, believe Generac could improve the service by monitoring the transfer switch as well as the generator. Currently, if there is a power failure, a message is sent that indicates the generator is running. But you need to trust that the transfer switch operated as intended and the loads are actually being provided with power from the generator. This has always seemed like a huge gap in the monitoring process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outstanding Customer support I had an old CDMA transmitter that needed to be replaced due to Verizon (finally) dropping their 2G service. Our service provider installed the newer 46 LTE device and handed my wife the box with the old transmitter, but did not tell her anything. Since it was trash day I threw out the old transmitter, but fortunately kept the box for the new transmitter. It wasn't until I realized that the generator was not connected to Mobile Link and went online to see what I needed to do , that I realized I needed the serial number of the old transmitter to transfer my service. I went to the Mobile Link website on a Saturday night, seeking help, and honestly did not expect to hear back until some time on Monday (at the earliest). Much to my surprise, I received a response from Customer Support (Nicole) on Sunday morning. She asked for the information on the new 4G LTE transmitter (serial number), she would be able to transfer my service, Within a couple of hours I received an e-mail from Nicole indicating she was able to transfer my service, which I then confirmed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The App needs improvement The app keeps changing. The first version was good, someone changed it again and its very misleading now. When the app is opened its the generator is outlined in red like an alert is present. Its outlined in red with service required, then below its red saying "The Generator has no Alarm". This should be Green if no alarm is present. This is a poor app design, period.
