Who Should Upgrade?

The Wi-Fi / Ethernet Accessory is the perfect device for homeowners who have no access to Wi-Fi service, have unreliable internet service from their Internet Service Provider, or who prefer the reliability of a cellular connection. It can be installed on most Generac, Honeywell, Eaton or Siemens air-cooled or liquid-cooled home standby generator up to 150kW, 2010 or newer.
(PowerPact and Pre-Nexus Models not supported)

Once you’re connected to the Mobile Link™ service, you can increase your generator’s reliability even further by signing up for a dealer-managed plan. When you sign up for a dealer-managed plan, your service dealer will have access to real-time notifications whenever maintenance is required or a problem occurs. With a dealer-managed plan, your generator is always ready to go, without you needing to lift a finger.

How to sign up for a dealer-managed plan

1. Talk to your service dealer about setting up a dealer-managed plan.
2. Once you have agreed to a plan through your dealer, you will receive a confirmation request email from Mobile Link™.
3. Log in to your Mobile Link™ account with the credentials provided in the confirmation email. Be sure to change your password once you’ve gained access.
4. Congratulations! Your dealer-managed plan has been set up. Your generator is now being monitored by your service dealer and they will instantly know if a problem occurs.

We now have an electrical generator for power failures,it does a self text weekly and constantly advises me that it is ready to generate power. We have the MobileLinkGen, and I have added all the features of Mobile Link. This is an investment we wanted to make as we are aging in retirement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very limited I have many new devices, all provide wifi connectivity for free along with excellent functionality. From garage door openers, music systems, thermostats, universal remotes, etc for no fee. This generac app is worthless in the free version and virtually worthless for the paid version. I paid for the first year, but will not renew. Generator and installation, on the other hand seem great. Almost wishing for power loss, to give it a good try. :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Mobile Link is a sad disappointment The following was great, appearance, quality of construction and the key pad set-up was easy. BUT!!! Paying thousands for the generator, and then they make you pay for a WIFI version of the poor app? Why doesn't Generac want happy customers that feel safe and secure? Not at all! They want to suck another $50 to $100 out of you per year. They don't even give you the first year free! The app is so lame and useful only on Apple devices. Why not have a generator monitor for Microsoft based laptops too. Sad. It's definitely the sign of a company that doesn't really get it. The other thing that was disappointing was the WIFI signal strength. 4% is displayed on the set-up screen. The generator is only 50 feet any from our HUB. So even if I had a Apple cell phone it still wouldn't work very well.
