Rated 1 out of 5 by from Generac semi-trash pump lacking in quality The name Generac should be equated to quality, but in this case it is not! This made in China semi trash pump is measurably low in quality. The motor is sub-standard and no-name and tends to use oil, the fuel tank gauge quit working after the first year, and the chain holding the prime pump fill cap rotted out in the first month of service. The purchase price of the Generac is not that much lower than some other name brands which are of much higher quality. Generac really missed the mark on this product, hopefully they have not done the same on their other products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Impression -- Works Very Well We use the pump with 20 feet of pickup hose and 100 feet of output hose to run a sprinkler for the yard. We pull water from the pond to the sprinkler. Just set it up. Always starts on first pull. Initial impression: works as advertised. This summer will tell for long term use. Did not use any of the hose equipment that came with the pump.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 6 hrs of run time & no longer works First the rope broke then recoil spring broke fixed them then pump quite after 6 hrs of run time $475 for 6 hrs about 78$/hr. Not worth it. My solution. Threw it in dumpster & rented one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing not trouble from day one Doesn’t lift water over 2’. Rope broke second time I used it. Recoil spring broke third time I used it. Thin piece of plastic that holds the spring broke. Now I have to get it repaired after only three uses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This pump holds up to hard weather conditions I do gold prospecting this pump is used for 6 months at a time it was left on a claim for 3 years only covered by a tarp no fuel conditioner. it would start on 1 to 2 pulls after sitting for 6months. Only problem I have found is finding a parts list and where to order from. I really like this pump it pumps very well......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always performs well We have had this pump for a little over 2 years now and it has never failed to operate as advertised. The pump supplies the irrigation system on our farm and supplies more than enough volume and pressure even when used to supply a 350ft hose length. An excellent piece of equipment. I'd post some pictures of it in action but they are more than the 5mb cap

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks like a nice litttle pump I have not used it yet but I got it all set up and ready to go. the pump with no oil and gas is light enough that you can pick it up your self. The wheel kit is a great welcome addition. the suction hose and discharge hose are great starters and will get you pumping right away so you don't have to chase down hoses however the male connectors that come with it leave a lot to be desired. Time will tell if they will stand up to abuse. I bought this pump to replace submersibles I use to pump out basements and pools with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor design features. In the first week of use, the trash strainer sucked itself outside in, minor issue, simple metal strainer added, within the first month of use, the pull starter cord frayed and broke. The design is flawed in the path the cord is designed to travel. It will need replacing twice during the usage season. Look at this feature before you purchase. I need a second pump for a different location, it will not be this unit.
